What is SIM Network Unlock

Some mobile devices are locked (restricted) to specific carrier, meaning that your device will only work with their SIMs and services, and will not accept SIM cards from other carriers. SIM network Unlocking means, you remove this network (carrier) lock, and use your device with any SIM from any compatible mobile carrier.

How SIM Lock is Removed?

Majority of mobile devices on the market can be unlocked with a network Unlock Code. When you use a SIM card from another carrier, it will usually asks you to enter a SIM network Unlock PIN Code. When you get valid code and enter it, your phone will be unlocked permanently.

Some devices may not ask for a network unlock code (They usually display Sim or Network Locked message) but these devices can still be unlocked easily using Unlocking software. Your device is connected to PC via USB cable and unlock is completed easily. We offer unlocking software for most devices on the market.

How Network Unlock Code is Obtained?

When devices are programmed at the factory, device manufacturer assigns a Network unlock code and store these codes in their mobile device databases. They share these unlock codes with providers, service centers and authorized data providers when required. We obtain unlock codes through our data providers and provide them to our users.

What is Remote Unlocking?

- Some devices can be unlocked remotely. These devices store network (carrier) lock information in their online databases and network lock of the device is updated in these device databases via a data provider. It is preferred if a data provider is available for device's original carrier.

SIM Network Unlock Guide

Most mobile devices can be unlocked by entering a network unlock code. After you enter it on your device, unlocking is completed instantly. There are also some other unlocking methods when it is not possible to unlock device with network unlock code (If device does not ask for a network unlock code). In this case, remote unlock method or unlocking software can be used for unlocking.

Network Unlock Code: If your phone is asking for a network unlock code (SIM Network Unlock PIN), we will obtain required code from carrier or manufacturer device databases using your phone's Unique IMEI (serial) number. After that, we will send them to you by e-mail (you can also view the codes on tracking page). Once you have your code, you will only need to insert your new SIM and enter to complete unlocking.

Unlocking Software: The Unlock software method can be used in cases where the Unlock code cannot be found in the manufacturer or Carrier device databases, or when the device does not ask for a network unlock code. Your Device is connected to a PC via USB Cable and network lock is updated using software.

The software method is often more economical and faster. It is recommended for phones that cannot be unlocked with a code or where a quicker unlocking process is desired (Software is delivered instantly and the process is completed in a few minutes).

Remote Unlock: Some devices may not ask for an unlock code but they can be unlocked remotely. When you use a SIM from a different provider, your device will connect to carrier/manufacturer device database and check for network unlock status. To unlock your device, we update network lock (as unlocked) in these databases via our data providers. Your device will accept any SIM card from any carrier after unlocking. We will send you an unlock confirmation when the database update is done and unlock is completed.
